That's a good point. Maybe these strange fluxes in space are affecting others, too.
( It's a theory he hadn't considered before, and it's comforting to hear now. Sam had assumed the worst when he had that vision - it had to mean demons, it had to mean Lucifer, the end of the world again - but if it's the physics of this place that's bringing these powers back, that's at least more manageable.
But it doesn't erase the instinctual disgust in his gut at the thought of his demon-blood powers returning, and with them, the constant reminder that he's unclean. )
